If a pool is constantly going green, losing water, or never seems to stay balanced — there is almost always a mechanical or circulation issue behind it. Most of the time it’s not a chemical problem.
The real cause is usually one of the following:

• A pump that is not operating at correct pressure or flow rate
• A blocked or failing filter media bed (sand, glass, cartridge)
• A suction leak on pipework allowing air into the system
• A failing salt cell or chlorinator not producing chlorine
• A slow leak in underground pipework, skimmer box or return lines

These issues waste time, waste money, and lead to constant sanitiser loss, which is why “just adding more chlorine” never works.

If your pool is dropping water faster than normal evaporation, you may have a leak. We can perform structured leak testing to determine exactly where the loss is occurring, whether underground, in fittings, in plumbing, or through a structural surface defect. We use pressure testing, dye testing and systematic isolations so the cause is known, not guessed.
